Hi,
I'm
Charla
Real-World Experience. Side-Hustle Support.
By day, I co-run a software company. By night (and let’s be honest — weekends too), I help entrepreneurs and small business owners cut through the chaos and actually understand their systems. From payments to processes, I offer consulting that’s grounded in experience, not fluff — because I’ve been in the trenches, built the platforms, and learned the lessons the hard way.
Whether you're stuck, scaling, or just starting, I’m here to help you work smarter — without the tech headache.
Q&A -- > Virtually
-
Q: What’s your favorite kind of job to take on?“I like the kind that makes you think a little — when someone says, ‘I don’t know if this is even fixable,’ that’s when I start having fun. If it’s got parts, I’ll figure it out.”
-
Q: What makes a good handyman, in your opinion?“Patience, curiosity, and knowing when to take a step back and read the manual — even if it’s in five languages and none of them are English.”
-
Q: What’s the story with the Christmas lights?“It started with one neighbor... then two... and next thing I know, I’m hanging lights like I’m training for the North Pole Olympics. But honestly? It’s fun. People smile when the lights go up, and that’s a good day’s work to me.”
-
Q: What do you do when you don’t know how to do something?“I learn it. I might stay up late watching how-to videos or take something apart a few times just to understand it. I don’t like walking away from a challenge unless it involves glitter — then I call Charla.”
-
Q: How would your customers describe you?“Hopefully as dependable and easy to work with — maybe even funny, if they caught me on a good coffee day. I’ve been called everything from ‘a lifesaver’ to ‘the guy who saved my fence from flying into the neighbor’s pool.’ I’ll take it.”
